Anthony Adams Obituary, Death Cause –Anthony “Tony” Adams passed away, and it is with a heavy heart that we share the news of his departure. During this difficult time, we want his family and friends to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the funeral ceremony begins at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2023 at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre. The funeral service will be place at 1:00 p.m. After the service, interment will take place in Aamjiwnaang Cemetery.

On March 15, 1969, Anthony was delivered into the world in Truro. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in equal measure throughout his life. Anthony was a member of Union Local 409 during his career as an industrial roofer. He worked for a number of years. During Anthony’s fight against cancer, we would want to express our gratitude to his family, friends, and the community for all that they did to aid, love, and support him. Darian MacBurnie (who is married to Cody Nelson); son, Cody MacBurnie (who is married to Brandy Pratt); grandchildren, Brody, Chloe, and Cruze; sister, Shawna Adams; brother and best friend, Scott Adams; niece, Brittany Higgins; great nephew, William; as well as extended family, Bruce Higgins and Troy Dixon; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Harvey Gerald Adams, Anthony’s father, passed away before his son’s birth. Cremation took place in accordance with his desires, and he requested that there be no visitation or burial service held in his honor.
