Rudi Mattmuller, the man who founded our company and served as its CEO, passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 67 following a battle with a terrible illness. It is with deep regret that we say farewell to Rudi, who’s death came as a complete shock. Rudi Mattmuller established the groundwork for the inomed Group more than three decades ago. He went on to effectively guide the development of the company over a period of many years.
He has had a major influence on an entire sector of the economy thanks to the ground-breaking ideas and exceptional personality he has developed. Rudi Mattmuller has gradually removed himself from inomed’s operative business over the course of the past few months due to health concerns; nonetheless, he has continued to actively assist his company by lending his significant experience and expertise. In an early stage of the company, Rudi Mattmuller introduced Mariusz Gruchala and Jorg Wipfler, two long-term workers and experts in medical technology, into the management of the company.
Today, inomed is a worldwide active firm that has over 350 employees, nine subsidiaries, and a large network of trained distributors in more than 100 countries all over the world.
Rudi Mattmuller’s entrepreneurial vision, his keen feel for opportunities, and his own high level of devotion as a role model affected the everyday work of all employees for more than three decades. He served as a role model for high levels of commitment.
These two individuals continue to lead inomed in his interest. We have lost a person to whom we owe a significant amount of debt with the passing of Rudi Mattmuller. Everyone had a great deal of respect and gratitude for our company’s founder and CEO due to the warm and approachable character of his personality as well as his professional expertise. We will continue to look up to him as an example in the future, and we will do our best to honor his memory.
