Linda Criswell Obituary, Linda Criswell Has Passed Away
Linda Criswell Obituary, Death Cause –On April 6, 2022, Linda Ann Criswell, who resided in Indianapolis and was formerly from Greensburg, passed away at the age of 75. She was the first child to be born to Elizabeth Moran Klingman and Otto C. Selm, and she arrived into the world on June 22, 1946 in Connersville, Indiana. Linda graduated from Connersville High School in 1964, where she had participated in the majorette program and liked performing at sporting events. She followed her caring nature and her enthusiasm for assisting others by enrolling in the nursing program at St. Vincent School of Nursing in Indianapolis.
On July 31, 1965, she took Donel James Criswell as her husband. She was a passionate stay-at-home mother and for a number of years owned and operated a preschool for young children. Her passion for assisting people is what drove her to pursue a career in the healthcare field, where she first worked as a Nursing Home Administrator and then went on to pursue Consulting and the development of Leadership Seminars.
The following people are listed as survivors: Husband, Donel Criswell, of Indianapolis; Mother, Elizabeth Klingman, of Greensburg; Daughters, Shelley (Ron) Mathis, of Indianapolis, Lisa Criswell, of Westfield, and Julie Criswell, of Carmel; Son, Scott (Jane) Criswell, of Saint Charles, Missouri; Grandchildren, Lynn Criswell and Grant Criswell; and Sister, Marabeth Selm, of Indianapolis. Her father, Otto C. Selm, and her brother, Robert James Meyer, Jr., passed away before she did.
In addition to spending time being physically active with her children and grandkids, Linda enjoyed crafting jewelry, playing Scrabble, and going to as many Indiana University and Indianapolis Colts football games as she could over the years with her husband and family. The memorial service will take place on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Gilliland Howe Funeral Home in Greensburg, Indiana, with Chaplain Mike Fields serving as the officiant. On Sunday, guests are welcome to stop by between the hours of 4 and 7 pm at Gilliland Howe.
