Guelph Car Accident Today, 1 Hospitalized After Fatal Crash

Guelph Car Accident Today – After a collision involving three vehicles occurred on Woodlawn Road West, a male victim was taken away by air ambulance with injuries that are currently unclear. Because a hydro pole needs to be replaced, Woodlawn is closed between Woolwich and Nicklin in both directions. The closure is necessary. Please stay away from the area. As a result of a collision that occurred in Guelph, an adult male in his 20s who sustained critical injuries is now being transported to Hamilton General Hospital by Ornge ambulance.

Guelph police tweeted just after noon on Wednesday that the westbound lanes of Woodlawn Road West have been closed at Woolwich Street while they investigate a collision involving a car that struck a pole. The incident occurred earlier in the day. Three vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the Guelph Police Department’s statement .

“A silver vehicle collided with a black car, hit a pole, and then hit a pickup truck,” said Scott Tracey, who works for the Guelph Police Service. It looked that the silver vehicle had incurred significant damage, as evidenced by the fact that its airbags had been activated and the front end of the vehicle was crushed. Officials stated that the Boston Pizza restaurant in the plaza that is right in front of the accident has closed since there is no electricity, and that other businesses would be impacted until hydro personnel remove the damaged pole from the plaza. At approximately 2:15 p.m., witnesses reported seeing a hydro truck arrive at the collision site.
