On May 22, the life of a student at Winthrop University who was a student leader and majored in sport management was cut short by death. Donald Jaylen Scott Jr., a senior from Blythewood, South Carolina, was a very involved brother in the Psi Kappa chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. According to his friends, he was a young guy who put a lot of effort into everything he did, especially his fraternity.
