Blaine Henderson Obituary, Death, Funeral And Visitation

Blaine Henderson Obituary, Death Cause – The life of Blaine Henderson has been taken.Blaine was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife Mary, and he was the proudest father around to his daughter, Allie, who was the apple of his eye. In particular, Blaine enjoyed the time they spent together, including their trips to the City Market on Saturday mornings, the many summers spent watching Allie and her relatives and friends play in the pool, and, most of all, the bear hugs and contagious laughter that Allie bestowed upon him.

After working with his father for 21 years, a time from which he has many great memories, Blaine Henderson took over as the third generation of Hendersons to run Dean’s Meats in the Saint John City Market in 1997. Dean’s Meats is one of Saint John’s longest established businesses and is located in the Saint John City Market. The fact that Blaine’s brother Robbie worked closely with him on and off throughout the years helped to solidify the company’s status as a genuine family enterprise.

Over the course of 38 years, Blaine watched the comings and goings of daily life in Saint John from an elevated stand on the south side of the City market. As a result, he developed a large number of friendships that will last a lifetime. Blaine was a tremendously respected and admired business guy, but he was also a kind and caring employer. Many of his employees who worked for him through multiple generations considered themselves to be friends of Blaine’s. The late Richard “Smokey” Smith, Big Bernie Desmond, Bobby Ramsay, and Freddy Ramsay were some of Blaine’s closest friends, and he has many lovely memories of golfing excursions with them. Blaine also enjoyed playing golf, and he has many wonderful memories of playing golf with Mary.
